Fine Art in Fabric,
Born from Snow

A thousand-year tradition transformed into a lustrous silk artwork, bursting with vibrant energy.

"Terroir Art" that harmonizes with the life and experiences of its owner, taking over 100 years to complete.

 A truly unique creation,
100% hand-painted
by master artisans of kimono.

Terroir Art

Snowmelt Water, Vibrant Colors
The colors in this work are not calculated, chemical colors. Snowmelt water was incorporated into the process. It expresses "vibrant colors" that possess both transparency and depth, something that can never be achieved in a city studio.

Master's Technic

A single,
decisive stroke where failure is not an option.

A skilled craftsman
who has dedicated several months to
his work
after more than
10 years of training
creates the ultimate art.

Uniqueness

Just as kimonos are said to last 100 years, KUBOKEI's creations possess the value of an asset that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

Because skilled craftsmen perform every step of the process by hand, only a few pieces are completed each year, making each one a rare, unique item.
